Services

We offer free evaluations and a variety of repair services, which are billed as the cost of parts plus an hourly rate for labor. Please note that the cost of labor is capped at 2 hours, so if the repair takes longer than that to complete, you will only be billed for 2 hours (unless otherwise noted).

Depending on the complexity of the repair, rates can be negotiated, so please do not hesitate to reach out! Students also recieve a 25% discount on labor costs.

Virtual Reality Devices:

  • Standalone Headsets: (cost of parts) + $22/hr for labor (up to $44)
    • Quest, etc.
  • Tethered Headsets: (cost of parts) + $18/hr for labor (up to $36)
    • HTC Vive, Valve Index, Oculus Rift/Rift S, etc.
  • Accessories: (cost of parts) + $8/hr for labor (up to $16)
    • Controllers, Trackers, Lighthouses, etc.

Video Game Consoles:

  • Modern Set-Top Consoles: (cost of parts) + $15/hr for labor (up to $30)
    • Xbox One and later, Playstation 4 and later
  • Portable Consoles: (cost of parts) + $14/hr for labor (up to $28)
    • Nintendo Switch 1/2, Steam Deck2, ROG Ally, etc.
  • Accessories: (cost of parts) + $6/hr for labor (up to $12)
    • Joy-cons, Xbox/Playstation controllers, Headsets, etc.
  • Older Consoles or Handhelds: (cost of parts) + $20/hr (up to $60)3

Computers:

  • Desktop Computers: (cost of parts) + $10/hr for labor (up to $20)
  • Laptop Computers: (cost of parts) + $17/hr for labor (up to $34)
  • MacBooks: (cost of parts) + $24/hr for labor (up to $48)

Phones:

  • Mainstream Android Phones4: (cost of parts) + $18/hr for labor (up to $36)
    • Samsung, Google Pixel, Motorola
  • iPhones: (cost of parts) + $22/hr for labor (up to $44)
  • Non-Mainstream Android Phones: (cost of parts) + $20/hr for labor (up to $40)
    • Xiaomi, Nothing, Oppo, Honor, ASUS, etc.

General Electronics Repair:

(cost of parts) + $10-40/hr, depending on complexity, billed for up to 4 hours.
